OK, the NCAA is banning nicknames that are "abusive" to Native Americans. No matter that Florida State Univ. has permission from the Seminole nation to use the name, and that the name (any nickname) is selected to celebrate something, not to mock it. In the NCAA's mind, the mere use of the name "Seminole" is abusive; therefore, it must end. So I wonder, will the NCAA move its headquarters from Indianapolis, Indiana, or perhaps demand that the city and state change their name as well?
