With UF losing Meyer, it was interesting to hear all the different thoughts on who would replace him.

well i think LSU lucked up with CLM. he just so happened to be the type of coach LSU needed at the time, but probably not for the reasons he was hired. he's a good guy who recruits well and surrounds himself with very good coordinators. the first step is getting the talent in BR. secondly, you really need someone to "manage" the team. i bet if CLM leaves, LSU will likely go after a big name (like florida did with meyer) maybe win a title off the bat and then regress so far into mediocrity that all of the miles-haters won't know what hit them.

no one really worth an LSU acknowledgment except maybe patterson. beyond that its a lot of scrubs.
