The Olympics coverage

I don't think anyone will care. Come on, we already had athletes apologize for wearing masks because it insults the great Chinese. Do you really think that the media/NBC are going to criticize China when they all want the almighty dollar from the Chinese government?

I did not catch how many athletes from the United States made the trip. Does anyone know?

 

The U.S. women's fencing team sweeps their event and gives the United States its first three medals.

 

DirecTV has the Olympic Basketball channel in HD. Looks nice, even though I think they're cutting the USA/Chech Republic game short. Seimone and Big Syl are looking real good.

 

I kind of stick to local because they seem to focus on the American teams.

 

Watched the US Men's Basketball team as they blew out China today. This year's team looks promising...tremendous speed. Lebrone James is a real beast.

Nice to see the women's basketball team on site returning the favor by cheering for the men's team.

 

NBC doesn't want their plugged pulled by the Chinese, so I think they'll tiptoe around a lot of issues.

 

Roughly 500-600.

 

Not much of a 'lympics fan, but this wimmin's volleyball seems ta have caught ma attention...
