We all know that the refs missed a blatant holding call on Cooper.
Is this karma from the celebration penalty on Green.

Yes, I cant let it go. I hate losing the game when shyt like this happens.
We have gotten some calls, but too often are we on the losing end of bad refs.

I must have watched that one play at least 10 times yesterday. Im disgusted with that play and our offense.
    your thoughts?

It was as disgusting as the 3rd and goal from the 2 yard line play call by LSU to try and force Scott through a hole that wouldn't exist because you failed to even veil a threat of a pass attempt.

    That was disgusting.

I want my Gary Crowton back.

The karma explanation is as good as any. It's baffling how that blatant a PI could be missed by the zebras, unless it was ignored. :angryfire

I usually cant let stuff like that go either but calls tend to even themselves out over a year. If it makes you feel any better, I was rewatching the game yesterday and saw Chad Jones with a wicked helmet on helmet hit when Florida went for it on 4th down. That could easily have been called a personal foul and given Florida the ball 1st and goal.

you're really not making me feel better.:hihi: Jones didnt intentionally lead with his helmet, the running back drop his head as well. Jones was trying to get lower.

I had someone in the chat room that was pretty adamant that you can't call a helmet to helmet if the player is too low to the ground.

    Is that correct?

    I never heard of that.

Never heard of it myself, but if the running back drops his helmet and shoulder, then the defensive player has the right to as well.

I have surprised myself by how little the missed penalty has bothered me. The TD was a direct result of the infraction and this would usually be a major deal for me.

But maybe I was numbed by our sloppy play, the drops and the lack of pt for RS.

so then you are in agreement there is an actual exception to the spearing (helmet to helmet) rule?

Just a guess on my part, but I think if you are leading with the shoulder and helmet to helmet results the refs wouldn't call it.
