The Play

    Doesnt really belong in here, but It doesnt really belong anywhere else on the forums... anyways...

    The Capitol one bowl reminded me of this game somewhat.. how LSU thought they had it won by going up one point... and then the rest is history...

    this is a great way to end a game... the one band guy at the end gets CRACKED

    who could have been a football fan and never seen the Cal/Stanford Greatest game ending play ever..

    justly the best football play ever.

    hence the name, "the play".

    when you look up "clutch" in the dictionary, that should be the definition.

    Nah...it should be under "Luck".

    Plus, has anybody ever seen that play in slow-mo? When I watched a tv show on the greatest plays ever, they slowed it down and zoomed in...it sure as hell looks like that guy at midfield already has his knee down before his pitches it to someone else.

    Still pretty amazing to watch though.

    There was also a contention that one of the laterals was forward. I don't remember which one, but I read an article in SI on the play once.

    you guys are focusing on the wrong thing...

    they made a touchdown while the BAND was on the field...


    just simple amazing...
