1. Yes, that is the goal, some sort of censure to where he can't run again. 100% unconstitutional. He hasn't committed a crime!
  2. That can only happen if the senate convicted him and then voted to prevent him his running again.
  3. You all either ignore or forget I am against the trial and think it’s wrong. I’ve just noted there’s an argument that it’s constitutional.
    The errors are as follows:
    1) Trump’s action up to and during January 6. As so many of those arrested have said they stormed the capital because that’s what they understood Trump wanted them to do. His actions in that period have not been seen since Aaron Burr
    2) The democrats are very wrong for carrying out the trial. There was no requirement or reason to bring the articles of impeachment to the senate. The trial is a constitutionally questionable act as has been pointed and strictly partisan revenge and sets a dangerous precedent.
  4. Trump is now a private citizen. He is not bound by any unconstitutional edict pronounced by the Senate. The impeachment powers of the Senate are limited to removing a sitting president from office. Trump could run again if he choose no matter whatever the Senate says.
  5. You’re a constitutional lawyer too? Do you practice with @shane0911
  6. I know what it says in the constitution
  7. ....I guess this means I’m a plurality?
  8. What do you expect a bunch of Antifa people and BLM activists to say??

On another note ... I don't think a defense of .. "so n so told me to do it" will hold up very well in a court of law. Do you? At the end of the day, a person owns their actions, unless they are schizophrenic.
