    jeff boss, the atheletic trainer that passed away this year. the team also wore a patch with JB on it.

    I wonder what USC's looked like? Probably just says "Rose Bowl Champion" or "The #1 team as selected by a group of reporters that mostly have never played the game, but wanted to make a statement since they don't get to choose the national champion anymore".

    They probably had to make them into brass knuckles for all of that! LOL
