1. I did and was just getting ready to post it when I read yours. Incredible, huh?
  2. Unfuckingbelievable is what it is. Yet you can bet your ass there will be a bus load (driven by tap) that will come up with all the excuses: mett has upside, bridgewater plays in the big east, miles is awesome, blah blah.
  3. Perhaps? I just browsed through his recruitment thread. http://www.tigerfan.com/threads/2011-qb-teddy-bridgewater.90358/

It may very well be true, and it would be both irritating and not the first time, but at the time no one mentioned visiting Mett as the reason he declined to visit, nor did they insinuate that LSU asked him to change his visit in the first place.
  4. Yeah, I alluded to that in the Sugar Bowl thread. I also said that I'm not sure how much it would have mattered because I doubt the staff would have used him properly. Poor kid would probably be running the option to the short side and getting clobbered on a regular, and we'd all be sitting here bitching about how we should have gotten Mettenberger, instead.
    tigerchick46 and LSUMASTERMIND like this.

  5. Heard that too. That sucks. That dude has mobility, and, more importantly, great accuracy and recognition of the defense. It seems all Les sees is Mett's arm strenght and nothing else. Les blows at QB talent evaluation. Sucks. The most important postion on a football team and I fear we may never get it right.
  6. Krags is the best OC on the staff, too bad he doesn't have the job.

  7. Far from it. I don't think he held commitable offers from the schools in his home state.
  8. A perfect summary of JJ as well.

We have a winner, though selfishly, since I have been saying we need more than pure athlete for some time. It is so friggin obvious. Dayum!
