The last home game of the year is always tough in some ways. For one, you are saying goodbye to the stadium until next fall. The LONG WAIT begins. Then you have the seniors playing their last game ever in Death Valley. Listening to Miles talk since the Ole Miss game, you can really tell how much he values the seniors on this team. With that being said, I expect seniors to dominate the stats on the offensive side of the ball. Joseph Addai will get a steady flow of carries throughout the game, until it gets out of hand, all the while following the solid blocks of Kevin Steltz along with linemen Rudy Niswanger, Andrew Whitworth, Nate Livings, & Terrell McGill Look for our starting qb to reward Skyler Green with lots of passes to him. Bennie Brazell may also get a few early passes his way. Tight end David Jones will also join in on the fun and have a great outing on Friday. Fast forwarding till late in the game when the lead is large, look for the backup qb to enter the game. However, don't expect him to pass as much as usual. Why? Because he will be handing it off a good bit to another senior, Shyrone Carey. When he does pass though, it is once again Bennie's time to shine. Also, lets not forget Skyler on special teams. How awesome it will be on Friday to see him bring one to the house one last time in front of the home crowd! All the while following blocks of fellow senior Jason Spadoni. Heck, against the bacon boys, walkons Schirra Fields & Jonathan Spear will be in there getting some effective blocks out in front of Green! When Arkansas goes back to punt or kick a field goal, guess who will be waiting to block it and return it for his second td of the season? That's right, senior Mario Stevenson! If that's not bad enough for Arkansas.... Ladies & Gentlemen I present to you the seniors of LSU defense. Claude Wroten and Kyle Williams will dominate the offensive backfield of the piglets. Cameron Vaughn and Melvin Oliver will most definitely have their backs. Can you say nightmare situation for Arkansas!!? And don't forget about Kenneth Hollis, E.J. Kuale, & Brandon Washington. They too will have their chance to shine on Senior day. Piglets, if you have any hope left by now.... Then I present to you: Ronnie Prude. He we certainly knock the #@^$ outta you if you are somehow able to make it pass those formidable linemen and linebackers! Ladies & Gentlemen, your senior class of 2005! Geaux out there and support them on Friday in their final game in Tiger Stadium! :geauxtige LSU! . . . Special Note: Our quarterbacks were not mentioned by name because this thread is dedicated to the seniors. . . .
I heard we have a special senior play for the game. Halfback pass from Shy to David Jones, who will hook and ladder the ball to Bennie crossing the field who will then hand off on a reverse to Skyler Green to take it to the house. Whitworth and Rudy are gonna hall ass after the ball is caught and lead block all the way down the field.
