1. I am still perplexed as to what happened to make LSU's offense take leave of its senses. It wasn't just Mett. It was as if Ole Miss knew what play was being run every down. I do agree, LSU should have pounded Ole Miss with the ground game. Yet, nothing in the passing game was in sync.
  2. Would like to hear from him why he forced those throws tonight.
  3. Not only forced, but he scattered them. His accuracy was off tonight.
  4. He put us in the hole. He also helped dig us out. Coaching philosophy blew our chance to win it in the end. We pounded their D into the ground with the run from the start of the third to our last possession. Then we got the ball back with six minutes left and suddenly acted like their were only 2 left. Got the points, but gave them too much time, at which point Chavis does what he's been doing for 2 years; went into safe mode and let the other team march the field on us. Then Miles completed the flop by wasting our last time out.

  6. I can agree except for Mettenberger digging us out. we were a drive too short for that.
  7. Nah, they just covered the receivers. Mett made them look smart by repeatedly throwing into tight double coverage.
  8. Don't forget only getting a FG after the muffed punt. Put a TD on the board there, and who knows.
  9. Again, that's on the coaches; better clock management could have given us one more drive.

  10. that I thought was the backbreaker and said so in the gameday thread

and it did ultimately come back to be the difference in the score
