1. We are going against USC in the 1st round.

I voted already but the results say 0% for each, so I guess it just started.

We can get an early start and keep voting.

No. 4 LSU vs. No. 5 USC: The most explosive athletes in the West meet their Southern counterparts. USC has struggled to consistently run the ball all season, and it doesn't seem like the Trojans will fare any better against LSU, the nation's No. 2 overall defense. USC will rely on John David Booty, a Shreveport, La. native whose two older brothers played for LSU. The Tigers will also need a solid performance from their signal-caller, junior JaMarcus Russell. Naturally talented, Russell must stay away from the mental mistakes that have plagued him his entire career. The Trojans can be beat through the air, but USC safeties Taylor Mays and Kevin Ellison must be respected. In an evenly matched game featuring a number of freakish burners, watch for the smallest guy on the field -- LSU's Trindon Holliday, who is 5-foot-5, 159 pounds of pure speed -- to make an impact returning kicks.
  2. right now 66%-34% LSU
  3. I just voted, and we're up 66% to 34%. In other words, I'm the third voter!
  4. 65-35 LSU
  5. 57-43

    21,711 total votes so far
  6. 54-46 48,459 votes.

Shall we employ the Dandy Don method again?
  7. What's the point of this exactly?
  8. Good idea:thumb:

    52-48% now
  9. It is on DandyDon now. We are in the lead by 5% and should make the next game sometime today. We have to vote until Friday to make the finals.

Reader comments: [SIZE=-1]Don, CNNSI.com is doing a mock playoff for the college football season. Each day you can vote for who you think would win the games and then on Friday they'll announce who won. Let's get some LSU fans voting and show them who we think is the best team in the country. Don't forget to vote every day this week (assuming we can garner enough votes daily).
