This phucks me off. After we beat Bama, the UT game we lost will phuck me off even more.

Yep. I knew how bad UT sucked heading into the season. But they're determined to reinforce it week-in and week-out. Let's just hope that LSU used it as an opportunity to learn some things about themselves that will prevent them from blowing another one this year (Bama).

For the record, Florida (our only loss) went 8-5 in 2003 when we won it all.

Just how in the Sam Hill did you guys lose to this UT team? I swear, even when I go back and watch the replay, I still can't believe it. I could maybe understand it if Riggs was the reason, but IMO he was not.

Wierd, wierd, wierd...... the Tennessee boards are in complete meltdown today. They want "the slide of UT Football" halted immediately (a.k.a. oust Fat Phil)

I thought all summer the coondogs were gettin' way too much love. I figured they'd lose 3 SEC games. Looks like I overestimated them. :hihi:

Like you, I can't believe we lost to these guys. Should've beaten 'em by 20 or better. Thanks Katrina. :cuss:

    the most amusing thought yesterday...

was when I remembered their LB'er, Simon, saying "UT is not a .500 team."

    I guess, he's right.

What is even more ironic is that if the VOLs would have lost to LSU, they would now be 2-5, with Notre Dame in their face.

And they would have been spared from the humiliation of losing another crappy bowl game.

When Spurrier was at Florida, his biggest SEC game each year was against Fulmer. I think it has become an obsession to beat Phil.
