Early Doucet has no option other than becoming the greatest WR to ever play at LSU, win a Heisman Trophy, get picked #1 in the NFL Draft and become a Pro-Bowler. The name, "Early Doucet," has this kid destined for athletic greatness. There is no alternative.

He can't be Early Doucet - school teacher
He can't be Early Doucet - fireman
He can't be Early Doucet - banker
He can't be Early Doucet - chef
He can't be Early Doucet - bus driver
He can't be Early Doucet - insurance agent
He can't be Early Doucet - attorney at law

His name is too cool for anything else. I anticipate greatness...

I'd like to see at least two of the young receivers redshirt this year, if for anything to prevent a similar logjam we have at running back, and also because I hate to waste talent on the bench.

Can you guys imagine the second half of blow-out games this year when the second and third string plays? Lets see, we'll have JaMarcus Russell and Matt Flynn at quarterback, Joseph Addai and Shyrone Carey at running back, and any of the young receivers as the wide outs. LSU is going to be high scoring this year, even when the first string is on the bench! What is Saban going to do to call off the dogs? Down the ball four straight plays! It's a nice problem to have. :hihi:

Does he play music? He could be a big hit with his band. Early and the Earlybirds.

The anticipation at WR is downright stupid silly.

First you have Bowe who looks like gangbusters in the Spring Game and who I predict will lead the WR corps.

Then you have Amp Hill who looks like he will be 100 % by Sept 4.

Then you have Buster Davis, still an unknown commodity and maybe a sleeper.

Then you have the 2 super frosh. X-Man and E-D. Man o man, watch out.

    Oh I forgot about that lil dude...what's his name....it's a funny name...uhh....uhhh.....oh yeah....dayum my bad....Skyler.

Does any SEC team go 6 quality deep at DB?

Great observation! I'm getting very excited about this. I can see 5 wide outs with no back on the field. It is almost more than I can bear!

We have come a LONG way since the arrival of Coach Saban and I am grateful and pleased. Instead of 8-4 season expectations we now look for 9-2, 10-1 or a repeat.

    Geaux Tigers!!!!

Don't forget the Speed, Dave ... speed, speed and more speed ... flip in another pancake called an "ADDAI" (we just may have another Josh Reed out there) ... Call the Coroner? ... and don't forget the meat wagon

LSU will become devastating on offense when Randall starts to connect with these guys and teams cannot stack the line against LSU

Auburn will be a 1.5 point favorite

    :hihi:

Damn, I forgot about Hawkins. And Addai.

I personally love the 4 wideout formation in which you execute a delayed run and watch our RB cut it up the gut for no less than 15 yards. Defenses would counter this play with probably 6 DBs, 1 LB and 4 DL. Just think of Broussard bowling over little defenseless DBs on his way to a huge gain.
