O.K. the Ole Miss "Lackluster" outing is behind us and focus is on our Tigers' ending the regular season with a huge win in Arkansas (for the second week in a row :grin: ) ......I have the same gut feeling I had when we went to Tenn......we will win & by 10+. Tenn. game should have been a bigger margin if not for a couple of plays, but this will be Russell's statement game of the year knocking SEC foe, #5Ark out of the NC race, opening the door for an "At large BCS invitation" and keeping the recruiting pipleline open. Also, since we need for USC to win..... man did those words just come out of my mouth? :shock: I found a Fleetwood Mac youtube addressing our need to forget about Ole Miss and "Think about tommorrow" and the USC band singing it to us with them..... by the way, the USC band ain't got **** on the Golden Band from Tigerland! I agree with you that I have a good feeling about this week. This is the biggest game so far for the Tigers and I think they will come out victorious. The pig people have problems at the QB position and I think our D can stop McFadden making there QB have to beat us and I dont see that happening. Our special teams has to play better though because they have good returners. On offense we have to throw the ball early and often to get ahead of them and then pound the ball on the ground. We need to use the pass to set up the run, arse backwards isnt it. We need this win to have a chance for a BCS bowl At LARGE bid. Sorry, did you understand the context and the message. I loved the song itself as a youngun....thought the old timers on the forum (like me) would like the music. lsatiga, no offense. its just that f-mac isn't one of my favorites (i grew up during that same time) and usc is definitely not on my a-list. watching them together...mmmmm...not so much my best experience. That said, I hear ya'!!:thumb:
I predict Russell's defining moment of his LSU career this Friday. 2 Touchdowns, No picks. Game managed beautifully. LSU 23, Arkansas 17. BCS berth, BCS bowl win over USC or Michigan, Top 3 recruiting class, yada, yada, yada. Pinch me when it's all over come January.
