And he did. This idiot judge just ruled that words are a weapon. What the fuck??!!??
I think he's got a point. No precedent that I'm aware of and certainly opens a door in a period where people hold everyone accountable for, for what THEY do, except themselves.
Words aren't weapons though. Sure they have the power to inflict emotional pain and to heal emotional pain. But I think this was way overboard.
I would think the burden of proof would be on intent. Did she believe he would kill himself if she told him to do it? Was it the first time he threatened suicide or had he been using it as a tactic to try to hold on to her?
