It does get tiresome wading through 7 pages of posts on an interesting topic looking for relevant posts that are informative about said subject. I find myself scanning instead and then I make an "on topic" comment or provide a link only to have someone sarcastically tell me that was done 5 and a half pages ago. So thanks Red and other mods.
