God forbid this ever happen. I had a Thurs. night class and it was hard enough to park without a football game going on. This would only cause CHAOS.
i think batgirl brings up the best point about not playing on a thursday night. hasn't everyone noticed how Tiger Stadium is in the middle of everything? many commuters pass it daily, even for only night classes. yeah, it could be done, and the student section would be full (thanks for over-selling it big-time), but not with the presence of a school a stone's throw away. now, i see no problem in letting the carolina cocks have them- their stadium is next to four-lane highways (pretty sure) not that close to the campus. there, the traffic, noise, etc. wouldn't cause classes to be cancelled...because USC football sure wouldn't. and having the Arkansas game the day after Thanksgiving isn't so bad, there is a little bit more of a lime-light. No. We have no reason for it. We are not in a nonBCS confernece, and we are not a bad team within a BCS conference. So we do not need to have Thurs games. Sure, it would add a game or two to our national TV schedule, but I don't think it is worth it. I feel this would be as popular as naming Tiger Stadium for a dot com company.
