1. I'm considering going to Omaha. Just wondering if any of the vets can tell me how easy it is to get tickets to the games. I don't want to go and end up watching them on tv. With the price of gas, I can do that here. Thanks. :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:
  2. I've never been to Omaha but I have never failed to get tickets to any sold out sporting event or concert. There is always somebody near the stadium selling tickets for anything. I think Rosenblatt Stadium holds about 22,000 which is pretty big for college baseball. You can probably get tickets at face value unless you want really primeaux seats.
  3. I have tickets, can't go...

I purchased general admission tickets to the World Series, but can't go now. I broke my ankle three weeks ago and had to spend what I had saved up to help cover what my insuarance didn't cover.

I have a booklet of GA tickets which has 10 tickets in it, one for each session or you can use them in any combination to any of the sessions.

I really want to go, but just can't afford my airline tickets. Please contact me if you need these tickets or wouldn't mind taking a former college baseball player with you. I will split the tickets if someone can bring me.

    Thanks,

  4. I went in 2000 and had no problem at all getting tickets, especially since I am an LSU fan. The people in Omaha love LSU(understatement of the year!!!) and will tell you that they are selling you their tickets b/c they know you will not scalp them and b/c of what team you are pulling for. In fact, for the national championship game that year, one of the guys that was with me was GIVEN a ticket right behind home plate for FREE just b/c he had an LSU hat on!!!!!
