1. Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been over here, but it seems like the site's still going strong. In case you don't remember I'm a huge LSU fan and the only time I root against you guys is on the day after Thanksgiving. I think this will be an exciting year for LSU football and I wish you guys the best.

On a side note I will be attending my first game at Tiger Stadium this fall!!! (the hogs game of course) and was looking for some inside info. My seats are in the S endzone section 2, row Z. Are these seats in the "visitors" section, and if anyone has ever set in this area, can you see the field pretty good?

What are some good bar's nearby to "get prepared" for the game?
Also I hear it might not be a good idea to wear red down there. :yelwink2: Would neutral colors be a better choice? Or maybe my LSU cap with my woopig shirt.:D
  2. 1) on first page where the topics are shown. Click on LSU links
    2) click on tickets & parking
    3) click on visual tour--wait for download and follow instructions
  3. Wear your red!!!! LSU, like every other school, has some jerk fans but for the most part you will find us welcoming. I live in Little Rock and pull for the hogs except after Thanksgiving, but I do have my LSU alumni sticker and LSU license plate on my car. I also wear LSU stuff quite alot, and it usually stirs some good natured ribbing.

Be sure to come by our tailgate at the parade grounds across from the union. We'll save a beer and some bbq pork :) for you.
  4. I almost forgot. Yes, you will be in the visitors section in the corner of the south endzone in row 26. These are actually pretty good seats.
  5. Thanks, I've always wanted to see a game at Tiger Stadium, glad to hear the seats are pretty good. How do I recognize your tailgate? Will it say something about tigerforums?
  6. I would check out the chimes/varsity/serrano's/chelsea's area, its walking distance to the game just outside the northgates on highland rd. and there is a lot of gameday parking a little further down highland rd. Chelsea's has some good daquiri's on gameday also.
  7. You have good tickets. You'll be near where the visiting teams and Mike the tiger come out. You'll be OK wearing red if you have a good attitude. LSU fans will rag you a bit, and then offer you more food and drink than you can consume in a week. Go to campus early on game day. The traffic gets horrendous. If you're coming from Russellville, don't go thru Memphis. Go on 65 thru Natchez, it's quicker.
  8. thanks for the info on the pubs swoop. :thumb:

I'll be coming from Helena, my buddy lives there and I'm gonna crash on his couch the night before the game. I figure we'll take 61 thru Miss. and then over. Is there a better way from Helena?
  9. Those are excellent seats. Wear your colors, you'll have a great time.
  10. From Helena, 61 South thru Vicksburg and Natchez will get you there.
