    Let's see who gets closest.

You can pick a 10 pick range and the round and the team. Just for fun of course.

Tyson Jackson 1st round pick 3-13 Cheifs
Herman Johnson 3rd round pick 12-22 Bucs
Darry Beckwith 3rd round pick 22-32 Patriots
Ricky Jean Francois 5th round pick 1-10 Jaguars
Kirston Pittman 6th round pick 14-24 Eagles
Quinn Johnson 6th round pick 16-26 Bears
Demitrius Byrd 7th round pick 1-10 Raiders

    Curtis Taylor Free agent Broncos
    Marlon Favorite Free agent Saints
    Colt David Free agent Vikings

Chiefs last 3 first round picks from LSU. Bowe, Dorsey, Jackson. It'll be like going home. :geaux:

Good call on that first one, chosen ... or was that an edit? :D

I didn't expect Tyson to go that high. He was ranked 4th at def end in depth but they kept alluding to him moving up. All the way up to 3 and the first end chosen. Congrats.

The Chiefs had been talking about them. It became evident that it was a real possibility they would choose him.

Bert Jones at #2 in 1973 is correct.

    Jerry Stoval #2 in 1963

    Billy Cannon #1 in 1960

    Y.A. Tittle #2 in 1951

    Johnny Robinson #3 in 1960

Tyson Jackson is the highest taken defensive player in LSU History.

    Let me rephrase then:

No other defensive player in LSU history has been taken higher in the NFL Draft.

Jerry Stovall played both ways (RB and DB) as a member of the "White" team during his career at LSU. He was selected as a DB by the Cardinals and made All-Pro as a DB during his pro career. So I would say that Stovall was the highest drafted defensive player from LSU.:thumb:
