Looking around people are complaining about the offense, about the strategy in the 4th, winning just on talent, and "where is the team speed" Are you kidding me. We are 8-1 and control our destiny. Same place we were with Nick when we won the NC. Not saying we will win but it does not matter what happens people will not be pleased. I thought the offense looked great the second half through in some wrinkles and we beat the best def. team in the country. If you cant be happy after that hard fought game turn your tv off. You are not a fan, you are just somebody that wants to b****. This team made some GREAT halftime adjustments and the players executed very well. Their LB's are great and fast. So it was hard to establish a running game. Jamarcus played like a QB coming of age. After we went to OT i would not have been mad if we lost. This was a great WIN. I am proud to be a tiger. much agreed, adjustments were awesome this game, adjestments between the begining of the season and now have been great, there is way more to be excited about than there is to complain about!!!
Our region of the country is known for neither intelligence nor success. Hence, the lesser intelligent fans do not understand how to quantify or measure success. It was a great win, and has been a great season.
AGREED! A THOUSAND TIMES! I can't believe some of the negative crap being said here. I was on the board last night relatively soon after the game and you would have thought that we had lost by the sentiments of some... We're 8-1! We beat an undefeated team on their field! We are now in the driver's seat in the SEC! Let's enjoy this for a while. We witnessed a gutsy and courageous comeback. Given everything the team has been through (and the state of Louisiana and its people), I would think most fans would be happy with this. :geauxtige
im going to enjoy this one. a good team finds a way to win big games. we have done that 3 out of four times. wish it could have been perfect but its not always meant to be. i feel really good right now.
It's because if we don't beat everyone by 40, our coaches have to be at fault, because we are SOOOOOOOO much better than everyone else
I AGREE COMPLETELY! I admit, I had questions about our team and coaches. But the half time changes showed me that these guys can indeed coach. This notion that we are winning on talent in spite of the coaches has now been dispelled in my mind. After seeing yesterday's game in person, I actually feel sorry for all those people who cannot appreciated what the Tigers accomplished.
Guys, JR won this game on a busted play, JR won the ASU game on a busted play. (remember how good ASU was susposed to be.... what 5 and 5 mabe?) and, we got lucky in the Aubbie game... yeah, I will stick with the facts. Tigers are winning on talent alone.
