LSU quarterback Matt Flynn said he felt better after playing Tulane than after playing South Carolina a week earlier. Miles said Flynn has no new worries related to his Sept. 8 high ankle sprain.
“He came out of the game pretty good, surprisingly,” Miles said. “He got whacked enough. I don’t think there is anything more than bumps and bruises.
“There’s nothing serious.”
Wide receiver Brandon LaFell, who said he rolled his ankle after his first reception Saturday, will be ready for Florida, Miles said.
“He got bruised. We expect him to play and to practice early this week,” Miles said.
Senior receiver Early Doucet, who has missed the past three games with a groin injury, is “day-to-day still,” Miles said.
He said defensive tackle Marlon Favorite (finger) should practice and play this week after missing the game against Tulane.
