The offensive line is the key this year in recruiting. We need to sign five line prospects with great potential. Tray Allen from Texas should be our target very early. His ability to block and pull is fantastic.
Not to sound like a smart a$$, but isn't that the case EVERY year? And I don't ever recall a head coach saying, "hmmmm...let's go after some mediocre recruits with marginal potential." To use the old cliche', "it all begins in the trenches".
No...I'm saying that no coach begins the new recruiting year by saying, "let's only target marginal players"...They all begin by targeting top-end players, whether they land all of their top-end players is another story...and if nothing else, they'll NEVER say that a recruit is "marginal"....coaches will claim that ALL of their recruits are "studs".
