The "Duece" is in Jackson. Let them play at Memorial Stadium......Put in a provision that the bands will be of local schools. No nasty dances.....= a lot of no shows there. They would be lucky to beat the attendance of a hs championship game.:hihi:
Yea, I was kinda upset when I saw that on TV. I went to the first 2 games, still don't know why. When I heard that were painting SAINTS in the endzones, there was no way I was going in Tiger Stadium with that in the endzones. Sounds stupid, but it pisses me off.
I think some people just need to grow up. You would linch LSU for trying to help out a fellow Louisiana entity.
I'm with the DarkHornet on this one, give them a break. It is only going to be for a year or two. God forbid if we do a little something to help out a local sports franchise that is displaced from Katrina. If it were up to me, they wouldn't be playing in Tiger stadium at all, but if they must can't we help accomodate them for the short time they will be here. I am sure they would help LSU if we were in a similar situation.
I did not want them changing logos during the regular season because having the LSU endzones and midfield eye are part of what makes the LSU gameday atmopshere what it is. The Saints did not get their logos done until LSU was done. That is fine. However, I actually felt bad for the Saints because their logo/endzones were so poorly done.
