Huge fan of the new/logo. I'm also a fan of my avatar but I understand that maybe it's too old timey for some.
The problem with the comic tiger is that it is a generic logo used by dozens of colleges and hundreds of high schools. LSU can't trademark it.
Sure. And it does look a bit old timey. I wouldn't be against a modern LSU made version. But it's kinda hard to bet the growling tiger. Basically, I'm just happy the toonces Tiger is dead. I NEVER bought one because I thought it was awful. All my hats/shirts/emblems were either old tiger or just LSU.
Love the new logo, RIP to Toonces, and good riddance. I wish they would get the damn COX logo off the Basketball court, but that isn't likely to happen. Otherwise, the court looks great.
Who was there when the students rushed the field and carved it up and carried it out in little pieces???? I think it was Tenn. in 2000.
Had classes with the first drunk shirtless dude on the field. Had the framed Advocate page to prove it, too.
