Up to 21.. 2 LSU guys and thats it... You'd think that Addai and maybe one of our recievers would have made the top 100.. I really dont understand how Erik Ainge is #5...

    45. RB Alley Broussard, LSU
Weren’t we all talking about Justin Vincent as a top Heisman candidate last year at this time? New head coach Les Miles comes from Oklahoma State where his teams produced huge rushing numbers. Broussard should be the main beneficiary of the new coaching staff.

    61. QB JaMarcus Russell, LSU
Yeah, Ryan Perrilloux is the one everyone wants to see and Matt Flynn will have his say in the race, but Russell should be the one to get the opening day call. If he plays like he did at the end of the Capital One Bowl, he’ll be tough to stop.
  2. I'd imagine ONE of our RB's will be on that list before it hits the top spot.
  3. I want to see how Coach Miles handles the running back situation. Coach Saban always gave pretty much all the backs some touches of course unless they fumbled haha. I think that an Alley Broussard or any of our backs can have a Heisman type year if they get the touches that an Adrianne Peterson and some of the other top runners in the country get.
  4. the problem with that, though, lies within the very statement itself. who did peteron have to share time with? kejuan jones? it seems very unlikely that any one of our RBs will get enough touches to gain heisman noteriety. too much wealth to share. i'll take a 3-headed (or 4-headed) MONSTER any day of the week over 1 heisman trophy winner. man, we are going to wear defenses down SO bad this year!
  5. Very true. Hopefully we can stay healthy. Plus who wants a that trophy anyway. These days they don't even get drafted. hahaLSU! :champs: LSU!
  6. Georgia Tech's QB almost lost his job several times last year.
  7. LMAO

  8. Glad you can read. :thumb:
  9. Yes, and he is 1-0 against Auburn

  10. Cirminiello's list is kind of ridiculous.
He has listed Justin Vincent, Alley Broussard, and Joseph Addai at #52 with good reason. He doesn't believe that any of the backs will get enough touches for individual awards. But he has D.J. Shockley at #41 while he has Brodie Croyle at #43. What has he seen in DJ Shockley? I just remember his series of plays against us in 2003 where he looked like they had just grabbed a fan off the front row and thrown him in at QB. He looked completely lost. Brodie Croyle on the otherhand has shown that he is a good QB with minimal talent on the offensive side to work with.
