Starchild, it is about coaches- as was pointed out- not programs. Believe me, I remember what Bama had, back in the day.

If it's any consolation...Florida State gets the cookie for most BCS appearances with 6....but they only won ONE.

There are some obvious flaws but no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

He's saying that last year was supposed to be the best chance Miles would have to win it all? With that schedule? Tells me all I need to know about the research he put into this list.

Saban does not belong above Spurrier. Spurrier has 6 SEC titles and a NC. He won in a much more convincing fashion too.

Agree, if I had to pick a "Best" coach in the SEC, today, Spurrier would be the one. I definitely wouldn't trade Miles though, he may prove to be better- certainly off to a great start but too early to tell.

Watchout for South Carolina in the next couple of years........can't believe I said that. :hihi:

When they hired visorboy, I looked at our future schedule, and knew that we'd be playing them at about the same time they started getting good. It won't be an automatic "W" when we play them. At least it's at home this year.

I agree, I wouldn't trade Miles for anyone. And...I'd like to point out that I have been solidly in his corner since day one. I've always liked his can do attitude.
