Not too bad for Hammond considering this was their first football team in some 2 decades. They've already beat out McNeese, NW State, Nicholls, and Grambling. They should move past Starkville over the next two years.

I'll say this being from Lafayette and then moving to Alaska before going back to La. where I started in Baton Rouge, On Saturday's this town has a spooky feeling to it. It's like something is in the air. After moving back to Lafayette I will stick to my guns and say that saturday's in Baton Rouge are different.

I love waking up on Saturdays. I always wake up early like a kid on Christmas. Go eat some breakfast and get my gear together. Watch some gameday, take some advil to kill the headache from the previous night, and then head to campus for a day full of tailgating and watching my Tigers defeat whomever gets in their way! I don't think it gets any better than that.

Good to see Thibodaux there! I spent 5 years in undergrad there. Small school (about 6,600 students). A comuter school can't expect to be ranked very high. Hammond is up there 'cause they got 15,000 students at SLU. Bringing back football was the best thing they could have done!
