    We actually get .3 of some guys, .5 of others and if they really want someone bad they'll give em up to .9 of a schollie.:hihi:

    I heard that the NCAA is considering upping the number of baseball scholly's a school can have.

    In any sport besides baseball, I'd say they are an exception. They get better scholarships for playing football than TOPS can give and so TOPS is no reason for an athlete to stay in Louisiana as oppossed to going out of state. However, with baseball I imagine they can combine TOPS & the baseball scholarship making it easier for us to recruit some bright kids from in state.

    I was thinking about Title IX the other day. I mean, I see the reason it was put in, but it's just crazy... There just simply aren't enough women's sports, much less women's athletes, to match the number of men that play.

    Actually they have to match the percentage of women on campus, which is usually more than men. It's a fiasco.
