1. its oklahoma city's turn again.

sirens going off and we are about to take cover. they are too freakin close right now. considering i have a habit of standing in my yard watching them form, that means CLOSE!

any of you in the central ok area, hope y'all stay safe so no one ends up in oz!
  2. I'll stick with hurricanes. Y'all can have them tornados.
  3. I can't even remember the last time it rained down here.
  4. we got either outflow or one that had lifted. our ears were popping, and the seal of one of my living room windows popped and split. have been cleaning up and getting the water off my new wood floor. luckily, not bad, but window has to be repaired asap. only pressure could do that, but we didnt get a direct hit so its all good. also had to pick up insulation in my yard.

i am not gonna complain seeing the pics of homes that were leveled!

hope everyone else in central ok is safe and homes ok. those of you in eastern ok, keep watch tonight. its headed your way.
  5. I've been thinking about you and LSU_Sooner today as i listened to the weather reports. Glad to see both of you on line. Take care, God Bless both of you and your families.
  6. We had a close call on Saturday, sirens went off for about 45 mins. Looks like all we're getting in NE Kansas is a strong thunderstorm, but bracing for impact later on this evening. Hopefully nothing comes of it.

Good thing all you lost was a window. Keeping my finger crossed for you.
  7. Hope y'all stay safe. And hope all the other tf peeps are ok. My fingers crossed for them!
  8. We can't do it here because of the high water table and flooding, but anyone in the uplands in tornado alley probably finds a storm cellar to be a good investment.

  9. I think I am going to break down and spring for one soon. I've dodged bullets long enough and my luck can't go on forever. That center of the house plan doesn't work so well if all that is left is the foundation.
  10. im thinking the same thing. it was a bit unnerving to come out of closets, watch tv coverage, and see homes completely gone from the foundation.

    again.
