The summer! No LSU sports at all, hardly any recruiting news and just waiting for summer practice to start up.

It has to be July. The wait seems endless at times and by that point there is really nothing of interest to keep me going. I enjoy baseball, but usually not until the last couple months of the season do I watch it regularly.

I would say that August is the worst, but at least some nfl pre-season games start coming on.. That's barely enough to hold me over until LSU kicks off its first game of the season. Of course you do get to follow fall practice during this time too so that helps.

Definitely after spring practice and waiting until August when fall practice begins. You get excited thinking about the season coming up, but you realize, "Man, there's still 113 days left."

Mine is right after the bowl games before signing day.

The reality of no college football sets in and i go into a depression because i have to spend time with my wife doing other things again. Not that i mind spending time with her but it is the things she chooses to spend time doing. I feel like the guy on the beer commercials with a beer can crashing on me. But it is the only way i get football season privledges to myself. She doesnt schedule anything that conflicts with LSU .

To prove my point her mom and dad gave me a sign for our anniversery that says " We interupt this marriage to bring you football season " .

    Ouch.

I have to admit i have already started feeling the effects of no college. The 1aa playoffs just didnt satisfy my need.

I will depend on other LSU sports and football replays on LSUSPORTS.net to get me through to next year.

Those were some amazing games though! All they really did was upset me and made me feel down though because I so badly would like to be following D1 playoffs throughout December too! (please don't start discussing playoffs people, start another thread! :) )

The summer is the worst--the absolute dead season for sports.
