An OL transfer and with that many years left is odd for sure. Wonder what the back story is?

He was ranked really high because he was new to the game of football and had a lot of upside. However, we didn't know that meant the size of his waistband. Got really sluggish and was getting beat out by guys because of it. I am surprised he didn't want to try and get it together and make a real push at playing time. He shouldn't have given up so easily.

Hmmm. I heard that he likely flunked out and this was largely academically driven.

Rouxleaux Do I get bonus points if I act like I care?

From the article: "Announcement for all my well wishers and coaches, I just got my release from LSU," I don't take "being released from LSU" as what I would think as a transfer. The dude got cut for one reason or another. If anything this is on our scouting who should have seen this guy is either a fat ass or lazy in the class room. Trim the fat and get someone else that can cut it IMO.

Hardly what I would call a Transfer Exodus.

Look theses kids who de-commit and transfer because of a little uncertainty is not what we want anyway. You think adversity is going to be any less when playing in the SEC west and competing for titles. These kids are not strong enough to be called TIGERS! We want players who have resolve and enjoy competing against the strongest competition. I'm not getting all panicked over some young teenagers who have not yet learned to jump in the ring with big boys. Those character flaws will show up in big games and we don't want that at LSU. Let all those sissies go some where else. I don't care if our recruits come from Louisiana, Texas, California or where ever, as long as they have heart and fight like the Tigers who came before them! You think Jacob Hestor, Chad Jones, PP7, or the Honey Badger was scared!

I want guys who say "Bring'em on Buckwheat!!!":D
