I agree he would not be able to take the pounding of an every down back. When they showed him on the sidlines he was standing next to Flynn and had his helmet on. He didn't even com up to flynn's shoulders. He can't be more that 5'4.

But he could handle 5 or 6 touches a game if we get him the ball like we have been. Sellout toss sweeps and end arounds are the way to go with him.

And on the Doucet at QB thing, the reason we have been doing this play 2 or 3 times a game is obvious, I am guessing it will come against UT or Ark, Doucet will actually throw the ball.

I wouldn't count on that, I thought that we were using Trindon in the Arizona game as a set up for Au, but he didn't even see the field.

I agree with this. Holliday needs to be used like Reggie Bush. Put him in the slot, RB, and use him out wide and bring him in for reverses or just fake it. It would be great if he could be used on bubble screens and things like Fresno was using against us pretty well. Just find anyway he can get the ball in space. I think the main reason he can't be an every down back is there is no way he can block rushers effectively without getting run over.

I would love to see Russell take a snap, handoff to Doucet on a reverse, and then handoff again to Holliday for the double.

We'll see if Miles has learned anything vs. UT

He's a true freshman with a fumble problem (in practice, atleast). We should definitely start him on the road against top 5 teams. Miles is an idiot.
