he's fast, but when you keep dancing around, you lose that speed. and they've used him quite a few time this year

I have heard that he tweaked his ankle earlier in the year and has never been 100%.

when they put him in they give him the ball no and then take him right out. I asked the same question last week.

I guess you're not seeing him getting pinky-tackled every time he touches the ball?

Or get bumped so hard at the line that he couldn't get down field fast enough to catch up to the ball on the fly pattern last night?

He's fast, but he's just not strong enough for big-time football. All of the GOOD fast guys (a'la Demps and Rainey @ Florida) are about twenty pounds heavier and a couple inches taller and they play RB in a Reggie Bush-type role. They excel there because they can break arm tackles and don't lose much speed on the near-miss tackles. Trindon can't do that. He's not what you guys think he is.

I said this in another thread, but I think it's worth mentioning here too. Trindon Holliday is NOT a football player. He's a track star that just happens to play football. I realize other players like Percy Harvin and Jeffery Demps also run track, but football is their primary sport, while track is Trindon's It doesn't mean that he can't make plays. It just means his instincts aren't that of what they would be if he was as devoted to football as he was to track.

I think Trindon is best returning kicks...

The problem with using him on offense is everytime he comes in the play call is so darn obvious. Maybe if he was in for several plays, the call to him could be executed better...

He needs to stop slowing down so much when he makes pointless jukes. This is the SEC, you can't do that stuff here. Just keep running hard and make cuts that are subtle but don't slow you down.

    I agree

I agree with that also. Trindon never runs up the field. He thinks he can outrun everyone across the field. I dont care how fast you are, you will never outrun kick coverage unless you run towards the endzone instead of the sideline. Trindon has the ability to make the coverage over run him, but he's just too small and too scared to run into players who are twice his size. Watch the way he blocks and you'll see my point.

Agreed, he's apparently not that hard to tackle when dancing in one spot.:nope:
