Everyone knows that turnovers are a big part of winning a college football game. I think they will be especially important in this weeks game with UofA given the great defenses and the embarassment (oops i mean introduction) of the new clock rules. I figured I would start a turnover prediction thread since it seems like football fans like to predict (guess) stuff. LSU 1 turnover (JV fumble) UofA 2 turnovers (Pick by Landry and fumble after sack) I know the obvious choice is a turnover on a muffed punt for us, but i'm hoping they have cleared this up during practice this week. What do you think?
I think LSU had better have a better turnover ratio than last year when we were #99 out of 117 Division I schools. I think we will intercept more passes this year and possibly throw more interceptions ourselves since we will be passing a lot this year. But lost fumbles have to come down and recovered fumbles have to go up. We left way too many on the ground last year.
That great DC hired promised to deliver better results. They were all crowing around here like bantam roosters about BO & his credentials and turnover ratios. What a joke. Only a great Miami game put LSU in the Top 100 last year. Three turnovers against ULL. Pitiful opening performance in this category, and looks to be a repeat of last year. LSU will prolly keep AU in the game with turnovers. Muschamp's gotta be lickin' his chops right now watchin' LSU "beautiful bean footage" ... those jumpin' beans just rollin' round everywhere. The only bright spot was the picks we had. Same old Miles Dumbo Ball ... NO PUNISHMENT FOR FUMBLES IN PRACTICE THIS WEEK ... fumble the ball all over the place all u like ... It's ok, LESS SMILES & THE COACHES FORGIVE U. Fumble ... You get a week off ... YOUR TEAMMATES SUFFER EXTRA WORK ... WHILE YOU SIT AROUND IN AN EASY CHAIR (BENCHED) & EAT JELLY DONUTS LIKE PRIVATE PYLE IN "FULL METAL JACKET" ... that would put a quick end to most of this silly ****. LSU will lose key games this years DUE TO THESE STUPID TURNOVERS, unless something drastic is done quickly. No one had the balls to ask Miles about this in detail Wednesday Night, it's business as usual. STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES ... LSU FUMBLITIS 2006 ... THE SAGA CONTINUES
