I like Rory a lot and he is very, very good but he is not the next Tiger Woods. He has missed as many cuts in 35 starts on the PGA Tour as Tiger has in his entire career (271 starts).

Thanks. I didn't think about checking PGA Tour. I assumed since he wasn't a member there wouldn't be any stats.

Just ordered my tix for championship Sunday next year out here at the Olympic, my brother is coming in from BR for it. His old boss' brother is a member at the Olympic, maybe we can sneak in to the clubhouse.

Getting stoked already after going to the Opens at Pebble in 2000 and 2010.

Gotta believe they're gonna make the Olympic a bear after all the red numbers this year, and McIlroy's record finish.

Time will tell if Rory is comparable to Tiger but agree he's got a long way to go. Hopefully they will battle down the stretch in a major sometime in the near future. I'm more interested in future results between the two guys rather than tracking lifetime majors (at least for now).

Yeah I agree, let the kid get at least a few more years in him before we crown him the next Tiger Woods....

He sure is a hell of a lot more likeable than Tiger is.

Tiger's 2000 US Open still much more impressive.

-12 winning score vs the 2nd best score of +3. No one came close to even par for the tournament.

Rory is a machine, however. He has game to win all 4 majors (almost won the Masters and British as it is).
