As I said in an earlier post this even more solidifies how lucky we are as Fans to have Nick Saban. With the turmoil in Alabama, UGA losing players left and right to scandal and now NCAA trouble. Auburn have Tubby, UK's coach leaving for Baylor of all places, on and on, Jackie Sherril, Phil at UT having the cavalry turn on him. To date at LSU, since Sabans arrival we have had little turmoil except for Damian James last year, and that was more Saban then anything. We have a steady ship, who competes every year, with players like Brady James and Clayton. It is great to be a Tiger...
Hmmm, and they have a decent opponent for the opener too. I am sure Clemson will chomping at the bit now. If they were playing someone like Valdosta State I wouldnt be worried, but Clemson is a good opponent.
That is a huge loss to lose Gibson and Michael Johnson. Gibson we all know that he is great, but Johnson is an impact player also. If I'm correct he caught the game winning touchdown against Auburn last year.
