  1. Gotta admit Im liking UNCs uniforms...I could see this team as an ACC powerhouse...never believed a program wearing powder blue would ever amount to anything outside basketball.
  2. UNC had Lawrence Taylor, Julius Peppers, and Dre Bly.

    UNC was pretty good under Mack Brown (now the Texas head coach). During Brown's last six seasons at UNC they were:
    9-3
    10-3
    8-4
    7-5
    10-2 (finished #10)
    10-1 (finished #4)

    Compare to UNC under Butch Davis:
    4-8
    8-5
    4-2 (0-2 in the ACC)

    Also note that Butch Davis' Miami Hurricanes ('95-'00) were 1-5 vs. Bobby Bowden's FSU Seminoles.

    Total yards
    FSU -- 341
    UNC -- 223

    FSU's QB is 26 of 33 (78.8%), 318 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
    UNC's QB is 9 of 18 (50.0%), 55 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT

  10. I turned it on when they were reviewing a pass incomplete.

    The NC guy didn't even get possession of it but the ESPN announcers sounded baffled they still upheld the incomplete pass.

    Did anybody see it? What was the deal with that replay?
