Undeserving?

I am so sick of hearing all the whining from ABC and ESPN about how Oklahoma doesnt deserve to go to the sugar bowl. This tells me how idiotic the pollsters really are (especailly the AP) and that perhaps computers should be the absolute deciding factors for the National Championship. First, they placed USC as #1 in both human polss! Didn't USC lose to an UNRANKED team this year? For God's sake, USC's schedule is 37th overall and the highest ranked opponent they played was Washington State (16), so why doesn't Terry Bowden mention that fact when he whines about OU being in the sugar bowl. The team most deserving of the #1 spot is LSU and #2 should be OU. Sorry USC, but you shouldnt have lost to an unranked University of CAL! Your coach, team and fans can cry all you want. BTW, Michigan will make sure you are not #1, despite the outcome of the Sugar Bowl

I gotta disagree Sooner....Oklahoma may be deserving of the Sugar bowl talent wise and "overall season" wise....But if you don't win your conference...You don't deserve to go.

 

You are right my friend, but don't forget, USC won diddle squat.
they did'nt play a conference champ game. they also lost to an unranked team at home in cal, a team that got stomped by ksu.

 

I'm just glad the BS is done. Now it's time to put up or shut up. I like our chances playing in our backyard. The Dome is gonna ROCK!

I understand what your saying and that is my biggest problem
with the BCS.

I don't like it , I'm in favor of a playoff system.

USC is ranked #1 in the polls however and it should always be
a consenses #1 playing for the NC with the #2 team.

Now,
if USC happens to win against Michigan which I don't think they
will.

Then you have a split NC and that was the thing the BCS was
suppose to prevent.

I don't want to share a NC with USC, Do U?

Besides, this wouldn't have happened if u guys would've taken
care of business.
