Uniform change...

  1. Don't get me wrong, I love our uni's, but wouldn't it be nice to see a new uniform at least once a year. Whit shirts and gold pants is getting a little old. I love the white helmets. How about white helmet, purple shirt, and white pants? If anyone is good with photoshop, can you put some different options together? Thanks!

    Our white jerseys are still one of the best in college football though.
  3. Don't get me wrong, I love our jerseys, it would just be nice to see a change every so often.
  4. I agree - I'm tired of white at home. However, when you ask for a change people get all up in arms and start yelling "Tradition, tradition, tradition" - this is the Nick Saban era, these kids could wear pink and gold at 10:00 AM, be well prepared and execute.

    White for every home game was a terrific distraction during the Dinardo tenure. With the school colors being the very unique combination of purple and gold, I'm forever confused as to why we sport white so much.

    Did God create a better color combo than PURPLE & GOLD?

    And what the hell is the "Whiteout Game" - this might be the lamest "Tradition" in all of SEC college football (with the exception of all the Auburn "Tradtions"). Purple and Gold is a blessing and I personally wish we could see it much more often because it looks mighty sharp.
  5. Correct me if I am wrong but don't we wear purple for two home games every year? Usually non conference games if memory serves me right. That would make 5 games in white and 2 in purple(28.5%) non white uni's. I don't mind a little more change as long as it isn't some of the hideous mistakes of the past or the gold jerseys that you couldn't even see the numbers. :geaux: :lsug: :champs:

  9. we wear purple for the second non conference home game and for homecoming to honor the past players at LSU who wore purple in home games.

    i like the whites at home, it is who we are. just like Ohio St, Michigan, and Notre Dame don't change, neither should we. if we do change, we will end up with some whacked out NIKE ensamble like Oregon or Miami.
  10. That is definitely THE #1 most creative thing I have seen all month....

    I like the purple jerseys...I also like the white ones; I really don't care what we wear as long as we win.....
