:thumb: :thumb: Exactly! At least crying shows you have passion for the game and are not aloof like said QB above. I'm just glad they're the ones doing the crying and we're the ones who made them.

Can't go with you guys on this one. I believe that you must have passion for EVERYTHING that you do in life, football or not. Agree with the assessment of Aaron Brooks. But when the head coach starts cracking up and crying, it sends the wrong message to the team. Go home and cry all that you want, its fine with me and maybe it helps relieve some stress and pressure. I'm even okay with the players crying among themselves after the game in the locker room. The head coach should not cry after a loss with all eyes on him. Stand up and take your medicine, admit your mistakes, explain how you intend to pick up the pieces and help your team begin to heal. The head coach crying only serves to prolong the misery for the team and can create the kind of malaise that can send a team on a downward spiral. A football team needs a leader, not a "best friend" . Just my opinion.

I agree about the coach.. i was mainly refering to the players... a coach should only cry win you win (see Dick Vermiel)

You know, after the pain that the Gators inflicted on other teams for years without even the slightest hint of remorse, I feel nothing for them now. They've been cocky for years and regardless of who their coach is, I feel nothing. If not for our fumbling, we might have been able to really put a hurt on them.

Gators, this is how you made other teams feel. Get used to it now.

Have you ever played on a team that represented your school, your friends, your community? I'm not talking BREC ball. You put your heart, soul, sweat, blood, and love into it. It hurts like hell to fail. It might have been an extremely well played game, but so much was riding on it. One side of you wants to be the gentleman and congratulate the opponent. The other side of you wants to go back out and physically kick his ass. We keep seeing these paper articles about some kid getting in a fight at a bar room. That is news only because of today's technology. When I was young, that sort of news usually stayed in the local community. Now, with cell phones, video cams, etc. ----a promising player can fart and everyone knows. What kid never got in a fight? Ever have an arguement with someone mad enough to start crying? YOU BETTER LEAVE HIM ALONE AND TRY AND TOMORROW.

Players cry... fine... They are putting all of their life into this and a lot of them will not go on to make a career out of it. They are doing it because they love it.

Coaches, this is your job. You job is to be a leader.
I was pissed when Blanco cried on national television about the hurricane because she is the face of Louisiana (as much as that pains me).
