Tebow's absence would be huge for top-ranked Florida as a trip to No. 4 LSU awaits on Saturday night. The common sense move by Gators coach Urban Meyer would be to sit Tebow to ensure a complete recovery from the vicious hit against Kentucky.
Even if Florida would lose, voters would understand the impact of Tebow not playing. The Gators could, like last year, rebound from an early loss and run the table in the SEC. That would set up a rematch with the Tigers or a meeting with Alabama in the title game and likely mean a spot in Pasadena.
The LSU-Florida game isn't the week's only major matchup in the SEC. Alabama must travel to Mississippi with the Rebels hoping to bounce back from their loss to South Carolina and stay in the race for the West division title.
For sure one of the top four teams will lose and the possibility that exists it could be two of the top three if the Gators and Crimson Tide both stumble on the road.

Tebow or not Tebow? It would be hard enough for the Gators to get out of Baton Rouge unscathed if their quarterback was at 100%. Asking John Brantley to win a game in that environment in his first career start is a tall order. You also have to like LSU's chance should it be close in the fourth quarter. The Tigers have proven their mettle in the last two weeks. LSU 24, Florida 23.

i really starting to get worried about LSU's chances now that all these dip$hits are picking LSU. its got nothing to do with the teams, its just that dip$hits are dip$hits for a reason.

No need to worry, I have seen a ton of dip$hits picking UF and giving us no chance. It all balances out, dip$hits on both sides, just like everything in life.
