I've seen fans root for other fans teams to beat other teams.......this is all normal but this.........this is something different that I can't explain.

It has some kind of weird psychological thing attached to it. I mean USC owns Auburn and the Aubies are just lapping it up. It's like they are USC's beaten red headed stepchild and Auburn wants so badly to seek the approval of the phoney co-champs. They get some kind of validation off of it.

Don't get me wrong. I think both teams (LSU-Auburn) played a great game today. Typical in your face SEC smashmouth football. Great game. I'm not bitter about the game at all. Depressed as hell, but don't begrudge Auburn the win whatsoever. But this fanlove on the boards is something that should be monitored by trained psychiatric professionals. It's a new phenomenon of the likes I never have seen before.
