What gets me is he started the slide at the same level as the bag and then really went into after he passed the bag. There was no intention to touch the base only to take out the shortstop. I agree it was bush league and he should be suspended for the rest of the post season.
Not dirty in the sense that he intended to injure. Should have been ruled interference and a double play, mets win the game.
