Playing tough D so far.

Vandy is spitting 3s, we’re trading blows with the early lead. Waters just got leveled and refs call blocking. Don’t like that call.

31-25, this game is a scrap. Vandy is shooting the bottom out of 3s.

39-29, waters with a three from the parking lot at the first half buzzer. His assists in the first half are outstanding.

88-78 ftw; Waters went off (28pts, 9asst, 4reb, 2stl) and is all-time LSU freshman assist leader (overtook Simmons). Vandy gave us a tough game and was hot coming in. Two road games coming up. UGA and USCe; we should have a chance in both. The guys still hope to make the NCAAT; that’d be crazy. I’d be thrilled for NIT.

A very workmanlike win. Did what they had to do and never let Vandy close the gap to the point where the lead was threatened.

Vandy got within 6 close to the end, which isn’t far the way they shoot 3s. Our D is much improved and we didn’t wilt.
