1. White is lucky they didn't pull the last one.
  2. Re: Re: Vincent...Heisman?

I agree!!! Because he won last year his name will be mentioned again in '04 but IMO he is a dark horse candidate at best. Look for the AP/PAC 10 lovefest to continue with Lionfart from USC getting a ton of publicity.
  3. he should get a ton of publicity. he's a good/great qb on a great team. he sure as hell is more deserving than white.

i think that even if all the pieces of the team next year fall into place (namely the o-line crushes people, vincent won't get hype because he's a soph and he will platoon.
  4. He is on a pretty good team but I'll wait until he sees a defense better than what they have in the PAC 10 before I hand him the Heisman. I think either the LSU or the Oklahoma defense would have eaten him alive this year.
  5. On top of that, I really can't see Coach Saban giving the athletic department the thumbs-up to launch a full-blown Heisman campaign on behalf of one player. It detracts from the team concept he so effectively espouses.
  6. Lienhart will win the Heisman b/c of the lack of D in the Pac 10. I guess Palmer and Leinhart were able to put up similar #'s because these sorry defenses have not changed. If I was a qb sign me up with USC, so we can go thru a cupcake schedule and pad my stats.
  7. I totally agree.
  8. I would be shocked if JV got near the carries he would need to win that pissing contest they call the heisman, hopefully he'll just win another NC MVP award.
  9. Leinhart will win the Heisman and then LSU will break his ass in half in the Orange Bowl.

    Book it.
