1. I am 70 years old grew up in New Iberia ate boudin from Thibodeaux to Lake Charles. Not bragging but I think I just might be qualified and well informed to. Actually the very best I ever had was in Charenton at a little grocery store called Hebert's. Dons is my favorite now
  2. Those are Tiger Chick's go to. me like T Boys. He has MANY awards to back my statement, bishes.

  6. Sadly, Jerry Lee's is about the best you can do in Baton Rouge. I do like their cracklins.
  7. I can't say I've had the boudin but the balls are decent from Bellue's from what I recall or maybe I'm getting them confused with the place on Scenic (spoiler alert - anything but). I am made to stop at Kartchners in Krotz Springs now every trip for the smoked stuff. Their hog head is the leanest I've ever had as well. Opposite side road from Billys, closer to bridge.
  8. Real question is how these guys found False River, AirBnB?

  9. There is a place somewhere between Henderson and Arnaudville that will make blood boudin from time to time. If you know the right people you can get some.
