I was wondering why the players don't wear those visors on their helmets.
I noticed Travis Daniels and Corery Webster were sporting the in the Senior Bowl. Ryan Perrilloux wore one in the U.S. Army game. Just curious.

Saban was old school, didn't allow them. By looking at his sweaters you know he is old school.

I've heard the officials want to be able to see the players eyes, face, etc. if they are injured. Don't know if that is the main reason or the only reason but it's the most plausible thing I've heard.

If you look at a Miami (not who we want to model) or USC their players all have visors.

That is the rule for highschool football where I live.

that really doesn't have anything to do with our players wearing visors. I expect to see some next year.

read an article the other day, Xavier Carter was stoked that he just got a visor for his helmet, because saban didn't let them wear them

    Saban didn't let??

Please! how stupid was this man!

His job was to win games! I don't see how a visor can decide an outcome! haha

He is the reason Perrilloux committed to Texas... the man is a grade-A butt

HHMmmmm, two SEC titles and one national championship so his rules apparently worked. I hate arrogance but sometimes ignorance is much worse.
