1. Do not party with the LSU folks after the game (you won't be int he mood anyway), then think you'll stagger back to the hotel in the wee hours. It's actually not htat far, but it's through a pretty rough area.

Your hotel may have a shuttle for the game.

  2. The Pastime has a shuttle that goes to the games. And that's just a few blocks from the Hilton.
  3. You do realize that the stadium is in a dry county ?
  4. LOL - dry county :hihi:
  5. The hotel should offer shuttle to the stadium.

True. We're a good crew. South Louisiana people cant stand to see a man without a beer in his hand or a plate of something.

    Pastime is fun
Ivars is fun- not sure if they offer shuttle service, but you could get a cab
Chimes is fun, you can walk to the stadium
Walk On's- I've never been before a game, but you can walk to the stadium

  6. Forgot to mention (and you may already know this already)

The law about open containers while tailgating is uh, how to put it, um, basically non existant. I've been to a lot of away games and like clockwork the cops come by and say "Guys, I know y'all are used to something else but here in (insert SEC city here) we do things a little differently". Didnt make it up to Blacksburg last time so I dont know how it is up there, but here it's pretty relaxed. Just dont walk around with a funnel and keg and you'll be alright.

The only problem I've had is when my husband (then boyfriend) got a MIP because he put his drink in a can of Big Peach. He got stopped. Couldnt figure out how they knew. Really? Who the frick drinks Big Peach?
  7. First games the cops tend to be more stern but, unless you're being an idiot, they don't care.
