@Jmg, What I find interesting about that is that 4 teams considered good enough to be 11 seeds are having to go through play-in games. Seems it would make a lot more sense if play-in games determined 16 or 15 seeds. If you're good enough to be an 11, then you're better than at least 20 seeded teams....why do you need to play an extra game to get in?
The only reason I csn think I for doing a that way is that the 11 seed teams are usual from a power 5 conferences and have a lot mode fans than Northwestsouthern Neverheardof it Tech and A&M. Better TV ratings = More $$$$
